Den 7. skakolympiade fandt sted fra 31. juli til 14. august 1937 i Stockholm ( Sverige ).

Oversigt

19 hold deltog for at bestemme den olympiske mester i en rund-robin-turnering . Tyskland var ikke repræsenteret denne gang. 94 spillere deltog i konkurrencen. Holdturneringen blev spillet med fire hold, hvor en erstatningsspiller var tilladt. Den mødested var Grand Hotel Royal i Stockholm. Tiden til overvejelse var to og en halv time for 40 tog, derefter en time for 16 tog hver gang. Placeringerne blev bestemt ud fra boardpoints (BP) og teampoints (MP).
