Pierre-Macario Saba
Pierre-Macario Saba , også Pierre-Macarios Saba (født 14. februar 1873 i Aleppo , Syrien ; † 28. juli 1943 ) var en syrisk præst og ærkebiskop i den melkitiske græsk-katolske kirke i Aleppo i Syrien.
Liv
Pierre-Macario Saba blev ordineret til præst den 3. marts 1898 . På samme tid blev han udnævnt til hjælpebiskop i Alexandria , han blev udnævnt til titulær biskop af Palmyra den 29. november 1903 . Patriark Ærkebiskop Kyrillos VIII. Geha fra Antiokia skænkede ham biskoppelig ordination samme dag ; Han fik hjælp af de co-consecrators ærkebiskop Gaudenzio Bonfigli OFM , Apostolsk TD i Egypten , og Joseph Dumani BS , Melkite Bishop afTripoli i Libanon .
Den 25. juni 1919 blev han udnævnt til ærkebiskop af Aleppo og forblev i dette ansvar indtil sin død.
